Why wargaming sydney?
We’re one of Australia’s leading AAA developers and part of a company with studios spanning the globe. Not only that, we’re officially a great place to work (that’s not just us saying it, we were actually awarded that one). We believe in giving everyone who joins us a challenge to help them grow their skills while ensuring we look after their mental health and wellbeing.
We are a creative and innovative team working in a constantly evolving environment. If that sounds good to you, why not take a look at our current vacancies?
How we hire
Think all hiring processes are the same? Think again! Our hiring process is as unique as Wargaming Sydney is, and something we take very seriously. When you make the decision to apply for a role with us, we want to make sure that not only are you the right fit for us, but that we’re the right fit for you.
Diversity and representation is also pretty important to us and that starts with how we hire. We believe the games we make are enriched by a diverse team with different experiences and perspectives.
Internships are a tried and tested method of getting into the industry. When you take on a Wargaming Sydney internship you get to work on real projects from day one, with real responsibilities. You get to see what it’s like to work for a global AAA company with development teams in Europe, Russia and the US.
We run 2 internship intakes per year, one in Autumn and one in Spring and offer a range of positions including Project Management, Software Engineering, Technical Artists and UI Engineers.
Benefits & life / work balance
Someone once said, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy” and it’s as true today as it was then. We believe in a healthy life/work balance (notice that life comes first) and have a comprehensive benefits program that you can customise to your life and circumstances.
Along with our benefits we have programs and resources to take care of your mental and physical health.
As one of the largest AAA developers in Australia, we take our position in the gaming community and our local community very seriously. We believe that companies can, and should, give back to the communities that support them and have a moral obligation to take a stand on issues that matter, such as diversity in the workplace and environmental impact.
